Self-Study Training Modules
These online self-study training modules are considered self-instructional training by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
Caregivers may obtain half of their required training hours from self instructional materials. (TX child care minimum standards, 746.1327) Texas: Approved for one-half of the 15 clock hours of annual training for center staff. For a home assistant- no more than 12 of required 15 hours, and no more than 16 of required 20 hours for primary caregiver in a home. Providers must submit certificate to local licensor.
