Camp Director; Summer and Outdoor Education
Camp El Tesoro seeks an experienced camp professional for full-time, year-round position. Primary responsibilities of this position are on-site program delivery for resident camp, outdoor education, family programs and community use. Reports to Director of Programs and assists with financial management, marketing and program design. Requires skills in leadership, program management, planning, decision-making, risk management, staff & volunteer management and experience with ACA standards. Bachelor’s degree required. Position based in Fort Worth Sept - April and at camp May - August. El Tesoro has been in operation for 77 years and is currently conducting a $10.3 million capital campaign for major facility renovation/expansion. POSITION TITLE: Annual Giving Manager
RESPONSIBLE TO: Vice President Development

POSITION TYPE AND LEVEL: Manager, Level 6
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2-3 years experience in grant writing
• Experience in annual giving including; direct mail, individual, corporate and foundation gifts
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong writing and research skills (grants, letters, presentation of ideas)
• Communication skills
• Community contacts
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience in direct mail and/or multi-channel giving
• Successful grant writing
• Management skills/experience
• Some knowledge of budget development and management
• Experience in Raiser’s Edge or comparable software
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
• Work with Program Vice Presidents to manage all grant writing and reporting processes
• Manage the annual fund, including direct mail, donor retention and acquisition, and increasing giving levels of existing donors to meet fundraising goals
• Actively seek out and secure new funding opportunities for Camp Fire
• Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines

Multiple seasonal positions available for Day Camp Counselors. Hourly positions, varied schedules.
Camptivity Summer Day Camp runs for 12 weeks, Monday-Friday, June 4 through August 24. The day camp is located at Lockheed Martin Recreation Area in southwest Fort Worth.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age. Prefer previous day camp experience. Staff Training will be required before the program begins.
Seeking candidates with skills in teaching archery, arts & crafts, outdoor living skills, fishing, miniature golf, volleyball, basketball, soccer, kickball, tennis, gymnastics and flag football.

Camptivity Summer Day Camp runs for 11 weeks, Monday-Friday, June 4 through August 24. The day camp is located at Lyle Lodge on Eagle Mountain Lake in Azle.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age for the Counselor & Lifeguard positions and at least 25 years of age for the Assistant Director position with previous day camp experience. Staff Training will be required before the program begins.
